Get married, have a family reunion or meet up with friends at the Fort Steele Wildhorse Pavilion! The Wildhorse Pavilion is a 2400 sq. ft. enclosed building that is available to rent for weddings, dances, family reunions, corporate functions or caravan meetings.


Attached to the facility is a kitchen with prep area and private (mens & ladies) bathrooms. As well, the area behind the facility has a large private firepit and great photo-worthy scenery. We provide picnic tables free of charge. The pavilion can seat between 120-160 people depending on the layout.

With the pavilion rental you also get access to the outdoor solar heated swimming pool,  playground, sports field and basketball hoop. There are free hot showers for registered guests only and a coin operated Laundromat with single and triple front load washing machines. See all the amenities and activities the resort has to offer.

Pavilion Reservation Policy & Info

  • The building can seat about 120 - 160 people for dinner depending on the kind of tables.

    • Pavilion normally has picnic tables.

    • Any other type of tables, chairs, etc. would need to be rented/supplied by renters.

  • The pavilion kitchen has a fridge, 1 or 2 stoves, large propane grill (renters have to supply their own propane), large triple sink, and hot and cold running water. (We supply the extra-large garbage bags for the main pavilion.)

  • There is a fire pit behind the pavilion for use by the renters, so long as there is no campfire ban in effect (renters supply the firewood.)

  • There are attached men’s and women’s washrooms (we supply the toilet paper and soap).

  • We clean the pavilion, kitchen, and attached washrooms prior to each event — renters are responsible for leaving them and surrounding area as clean as they found them.

  • Normal rental of pavilion is from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon including cleanup time (by renters) to be finished by 1PM for us to inspect.

  • Cost to rent for weekend (Fri. afternoon to Sun. afternoon) is $800.00 + tax total cost

    • 100% NON-REFUNDABLE prepay + tax when booking the pavilion.

  • A $400.00 CASH damage deposit is also due when the key is picked up.

    • This deposit is returned once the pavilion has been cleaned to our standards and if there hasn’t been any damage done by the group.

  • There is a day-use fee for every visitor who is not camping here.

    • The day-use fee is normally $6/person, but we have special rates for large groups:

      • For visitors up to a maximum of 50 people we charge one flat fee of $200.00 plus tax for an event, which is due when they pick up the key.

      • For visitors over 50 people we charge one flat fee of $300.00 plus tax.


  • Pavilion users MUST abide by the quiet hours for the whole campground of 11pm - 8am.

    • NO fireworks are allowed to be set off in the campground.

  • If there is liquor being served, or if anyone in the group will be bringing any liquor with them, they must provide us a copy of their special occasion liquor permit before the key will be released (not before 9am on their arrival day).

  • Everyone who books the pavilion must fill out and sign our “pavilion rental contract” form.


  • In order to keep campers together who are using the pavilion, we can set aside a group of sites as “pending” under the name of the pavilion renter.

    • Their camping guests must call or email us by a set date to guarantee a site with their own credit cards.

    • Any “pending” sites not spoken for by the set date will be cancelled.

    • Anyone calling for sites must tell us they belong to that group.

    • If anyone cancels their reservation, we must be notified 3 weeks before their arrival date or they will be charged a cancellation fee of one night (same as cancellation policy for regular reservations of 3 or more sites).
